What is PromoSuite?
PromoSuite is built specifically for radio. And that’s because we come from radio.
Over 25 years ago, our CEO Rocco Macri and CTO Chris Bungo founded PromoSuite out of necessity – to make a Marketing Director’s job easier. Our founders met while working together at Syracuse University’s student-owned and -operated radio station Z89 (WJPZ-FM), and Rocco had gone on to be the Director of Marketing at Emmis Communications’ HOT 97 (WQHT-FM) at the age of 24. Chris had gone on to pursue a career in computer programming and technology, which turned out to be very useful for us.
Rocco and Chris’ careers crossed over when they realized that Music Directors had their choice of music scheduling systems, Traffic Directors had their choice of commercial scheduling systems, yet Promotions Directors were still stuck with pen and paper. Chris started mashing a keyboard and building some databases, and shortly thereafter, PromoSuite was born!
Over the last 25 years, PromoSuite’s software has proven to be both the original and the industry standard for managing radio contesting, liners, events, and much more. Our Promotions Management system PromoSuite Next is now used by over 2500 radio stations across the United States and Canada – large markets, small markets; conglomerates and independents alike. As long as you’re giving stuff away, we’re here to make sure everything goes the way it’s supposed to.
And we’re certainly not done innovating. Our system is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of the radio industry. Our goal is simple: save you time, and make your entire operation run more effectively. It’s why we created the original Promotions Management Software back in 1992… and it’s why we still continue to lead and innovate today.
